(Un)Safe School. Recognition Deficit as an Experience of Early School Socialization

Abstract

The article is an attempt to answer the question of whether school is, or perhaps can be, a space of recognition. Does the institution of school or its educational concept provide a real chance for recognition, and does it emerge in the mutual relationships of all participants in the educational processes? The search for answers to the question about relationships of recognition in Polish education and school will be based on the narratives of mothers of children starting school
